Program Format
Prerequisites
Access will be provided to the online portal CME Cloud after acceptance into the training cohort.
There are 9 self paced modules and quizzes to complete prior to the live sessions.
They must be complete 1 week prior to the live sessions.
Day 1 (8:30-4:30)
- 8:30-9:30 am: Welcome & Introductions
- 9:30-12:15 pm: Counseling Strategies, Part 1
- 12:15-1:00 pm: Lunch
- 1:00-4:30 pm: Counseling Strategies, Part 2
Day 2 (8:30-4:30)
- 8:30-12:15 pm: Pharmacotherapy for Treatment of Tobacco Use Disorder
- 12:15-1:00 pm: Lunch
- 1:00-4:30 pm: Cognitive & Behavioral Treatment Strategies
Day 3 (8:30-4:30)
- 8:30-12:00 pm: Intake, Assessment and Treatment Planning
- 12:00-1:00 pm: Working Lunch & DHSS Presentation
- 1:00-4:00 pm: Intake, Assessment and Treatment Planning, Continued
- 4:00-4:30 pm: Wrap Up, Surveys, & Exam Information
Certification Exam
Completion of the TTS exam is required to receive a Certificate of Attendance.
This is an online exam and must be completed within 4 weeks of the class.
